Build your dream project with Chase
Are you dreaming about projects this spring but not really sure how to make them a reality? Would you love a hot tub but don’t know how to keep the rain off? Maybe a new dog kennel for Fido, chicken coop for Henrietta or even a shop for you? These small projects seem easy enough when we are dreaming about them during the long cold Southwestern Ontario winters, but they get a little more complicated when one puts pen to paper and starts sourcing materials in the spring.
Hire a professional Contractor
Here is the thing … the rain can’t last forever! Eventually, it will stop and the land will dry up when it does you want to be ready. This is the time to write down your plan, hire the contractors you need and source your materials. It’s time to figure out how to make your dream a reality.
Canadian Carports and Structures
If you are stuck and you’re not really sure where to go next, I have a suggestion, call the team at Chase Concrete and Insulation along with our newest division Canadian Carports and Structures. Seriously; we do it all.
If you are the hands-off kind of builder then look no further; they will prepare the site, pour the concrete, deliver and install the building, insulate the interior and even slap a roof on. How do you like that for the icing on the cake? If you want to get your hands dirty, then that is fine too. You coordinate the services you require and they will leave you to do the rest on your own. Want to do some of it yourself but you don’t really know how? Sure; order one of the large variety of VersaTube buildings from Canadian Carport and Shelters. Our concrete division will pour the floor, you can construct the building using their easy-to-follow instructions, (Youtube it. I promise you, you won’t be disappointed) then they will come back to add the insulation. There are endless options, our team is happy to work with you to make sure you are getting exactly what you want.
Don’t Skip Out on the Insulation
It is often tempting to build your dream structure and skip the insulation. That is a big mistake. You want to be able to use your building as much as possible throughout the year and you want your climate control to be efficient. Even if you are putting together a shelter for animals; say a chicken coop, dog kennel or goat shed, you need to finish off the job with a little insulation. The climate is changing. Our winters are getting longer and colder. Our summers are scorching hot. You love your animals, keep them warm in the winter and cool in the summer. Yes, insulation is an added expense, but you will be glad that you did it. Happy animals are productive animals, right? If it is a shop or pole barn you are after then absolutely, you need to insulate it. You want to be able to use your structure as long into the fall as possible and as early in the spring as you can. Insulation makes all the difference. Planning to heat your building? Don’t let that heat leak out into the neighbourhood. Keep it in the building with premium insulation and keep your projects going late into the year.
We are all doing what we can about climate change. Ask our office about the eco-friendly products we offer and do a little more.
In the meantime, we have to be prepared for unpredictable weather in Southwestern Ontario. That may mean adding a new building when previously you didn’t require one, or maybe it means just adding a little insulation to an already existing structure. Either way, give us a call at 519-768-3977. They will get you on your way to making your dreams into reality this spring.
